The rupiah depreciated 0.1 percent to Rp 13,425 per dollar while the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) rose by 24.18 points, or 0.53 percent, to 4,613.53.
The exchange data showed 107 stocks were up in the morning session, 19 stocks down and 57 stocks unchanged.
In regional markets, Japan’s Nikkei 225 Index added 1.64 percent, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index grew 0.94 percent and China’s Shanghai
